Data do not need to be boring. We could make it beautiful, exiting and more engaging using infographics elements in our presentation. The main aim of the infographics is to make data more clear and concise for target audience, so design it with the audience in mind.

In this tutorial I will show how to design a step-by-step process infographics template in Gravit Designer .

Commenicate Data more clearly with infographics

New Document

Get your own copy of Gravit Designer. Start with a New Document at the size of 1440x900px.

Start a new gravit document

First Circle

Create a Circle using an Ellipse tool. Give it a size of 280x280px. Delete a Fill Color and set a Stroke Color to #FD5858. Increase the Stroke Weight to 70px.

Create a circle

In order to create a half of the circle, head on to the Appearance Panel and place a cursor to the first Angle input field. Type a value of 900 . Come over the second field and type a value of 2700 . Set an Open as the option for the shape appearance.

Create Half of the circle

Text on Path

Create a duplicate of the shape using Clone Command (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+D).

Create a duplicate

Convert the duplicate of the shape to the path heading on to the Edit>Path>Convert To Path or using shortcut Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+P.

Convert to path

Grab the Text Tool and come over the duplicate. When the path is highlighted with red outline click with the left mouse button key to place the text on the path. Head on to the Borders Panel and delete the stroke.

Set a text on the path

Select the Text Layer and adjust it the way you like it more. As you can see from the picture below, I’ve sized up the Font Size to 42pt, set a Color value to #FFF and Font Weight to Extra Bold.

Adjust the text Properties

Use a red diamond handle at the bottom left of the text to position the text at the center of the path.

Create an Arrow

To create an arrow select the original shape and head on to the Advanced Stroke Settings menu. It is located on the left from the Trash Icon under the Borders Panel (see image below). Navigate to the right Arrow Dropdown and chose the value of the Fat Arrow.
